Film Festival Movie Night

Do you enjoy going to the movies and do you want to get a taste of the Dutch film scene?

Join this special event organised by the International Welcome Centre Utrecht Region in collaboration with the Nederlands Film Festival: thé week-long festival from 22 until 29 September where the best Dutch movies premiere and will be presented.

With this Film Festival Movie Night on 26 September, the international community also gets the opportunity to enjoy the festival.

What Can You Expect?

• Networking drinks including an introduction to the Nederlands Film Festival
• A screening of the movie KIDDO – a Dutch film including English subtitles
• A discussion/ Q&A about the movie

When: Tuesday September 26th, from 7.30 to 10.30 p.m.

Where: Louis Hartlooper Complex in Utrecht

Ticket

A ticket for the event costs 17.50 euros and gives you access to the full event and includes the movie ticket and some drinks and bites. Please note: the ticket is not refundable and not transferable. The released money from cancelled tickets will be used to finance future events for internationals.

About the Nederlands Film Festival

The Netherlands Film Festival (NFF) is both the home of Dutch cinema and the leading platform for the national Dutch film culture. During the Nederlands Film Festival in September, a lot of films premiere and the best Dutch films are presented to the very cinema-savvy Dutch audience. This special movie night for internationals is a collaboration with the International Welcome Centre Utrecht Region to make the festival accessible to the local international community.

About ‘KIDDO’

Lu thinks she’s spending an afternoon with her estranged mother Karina when she disappears into the adventure of a lifetime as Karina takes her to Poland in a beat-up sports car to stay together forever. The journey spirals out of control and Lu continues to step over her boundaries just to stay with her eccentric mother. KIDDO is a coming-of-age road movie with a nod to the lovers-on-the-run genre.
