Al Lubel became a lawyer to satisfy his mother and then quit the law to become a comedian to satisfy his need to torture her.
At first, Al practiced law during the day and comedy at night.
Doing the Tonight Show was a childhood fantasy, so Al auditioned and became one of the last comics to appear with Johnny Carson.
He went on to do six more Tonight Show appearances with Jay Leno and then made five appearances on the Late Show with David Letterman.
Al’s solo show, “Al Alone”, won the Amused Moose Award Judges Prize as the best one person show in the 2013 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He also was nominated for best performer for a solo show by the Barry Awards at the 2015 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Don’t miss this comic on his one night in town!
Rahul Kohli is one of the fastest rising act on the UK circuit. A young geordie asian man combining fierce political satire with surreal storytelling, in just a few short years, his debut solo show: Newcastle Brown Male gained critical acclaim at the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe Festival earning him a top pick of both BBC Radio 4 and the Huffington Post. It also gained him radio credits for BBC Radio 4’s State of the Nation and BBC Asia Networks Big Asian Comedy Night. On top of this he has gained writing credits for other Radio 4 Shows while performing at some of the biggest clubs around the country from the Stand up North to the Comedy Store down south. In January 2017, Rahul became an award-winning comedian winning the prestigious NATYS, formerly the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year Award.’
