“Al has one of the best jokes I have ever heard” – Jerry Seinfeld
“A terrifically funny comedian” – David Letterman

Al Lubel became a lawyer to satisfy his mother and then quit the law to become a comedian to satisfy his need to torture her.
At first, Al practiced law during the day and comedy at night.
Doing the Tonight Show was a childhood fantasy, so Al auditioned and became one of the last comics to appear with Johnny Carson.
He went on to do six more Tonight Show appearances with Jay Leno and then made five appearances on the Late Show with David Letterman.
Al’s solo show, “Al Alone”, won the Amused Moose Award Judges Prize as the best one person show in the 2013 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He also was nominated for best performer for a solo show by the Barry Awards at the 2015 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. In Leiden for one night …do not miss him.

“Fast as thunder” is what Rob brings to the comedy table. An improviser, stand up comedian and storyteller for more than twenty five years, Rob has performed comedy on a near nightly basis with the comedy legends of ComedySportz Chicago and Amsterdam’s Boom Chicago (he has a thing for Chicago.)
Rob starred and hosted comedy at Lowlands, Paaspop and the Paradiso as well as the Chicago Improv Festival, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Kilkenny Cat Laughs festival in Ireland. He’s even done comedy in Enschede. Which he enjoyed. Good people.
Rob wrote and acted on Comedy Central News featuring Greg Shapiro. You’ve seen him as Random Amsterdam Stoner in the film Harold and Kumar Go To Guantanamo Bay and Random American Tourist in the Dick Maas film, Sint. Rob’s very random.
Rob can currently be seen rocking his latest one man comedy show about rock and roll, appropriately titled, “Legends of Rob.” Come, rock with him.

And resident MC Carly Baker (USA) will be there to hold your hand through it all!
